Many people view getting fitter as suffering very hard & painful exercise, spending money on machines, equipment, books, diet foods and gimmicks, unaware that for most people, mild to moderate physical activity and slight changes in diet is all that is required for the most amazing results. It's a fact that if you improve the quality & portion size of your diet alongside simply boosting your levels of general daily activity, you can massively improve your health, weight and energy.

When taking up exercise, unless you do something you enjoy – or can at least tolerate – you won't keep it up. Becoming fitter doesn't mean pushing yourself to the limits of your endurance; if you start off doing too much too soon, you'll get fed up, stop or get injured. Similarly if you don't do enough of the right exercise, you wont see the results you expect & think it a waste of time. Whoever you are and whatever your time constraints, there's an activity for you.

Bootcamp@hay believes that the key factor is motivation. Buying the latest exercise machine will not get you fit if you don't have the motivation to use it! So our instructors work hard to bring out the potential you have to succeed mentally and physically with all our programmes.

Although our instructors are great fun to be with, they use their vast experience of overcoming adversity to ensure you don’t take the easy option. They’re firm, fair and honest..which is probably the most hurt you'll suffer!

We use the outdoor environment to help you gain confidence, increase motivation and realise that to get fit or loose weight will rely on you adopting a mental attitude that includes a commitment of your time in areas connected to exercise, healthy eating and sufficient rest.

When you have attended Bootcamp@hay you will feel great, fitter, healthier and inspired to continue with your new found healthy life. This can continue by joining our forum site for advice and encouragement from us along the way with menu planners, recipes, exercise programmes and super tips to keep you going. It will also enable you to keep in contact and celebrate your success with your fellow Bootcampers.

All this is part of the course fees, so you can see we are not just a quick fix, we are in the fight with you!
